Khalti is a mobile wallet, payment gateway & service provider in Nepal. Launched in January 2017, Khalti is an emerging online payment solution in Nepal. It allows users to pay for a range of services like basic utility payments, hotel bookings, movie and domestic flight tickets, events and many more. It is operated and owned by Sparrow Pay Pvt. Ltd. Our parent company Janaki Technology, which has been in the software product industry since 2010.
We offer payment solutions to hundreds of merchants across Nepal and provide seamless payments using e-banking, smart banking, cards, and wallet. Being not just limited to mobile app users, Khalti has more than 8000 POS and Agent Network providing Khalti services to end-users.
How to create Khalti ID easily?
pen Khalti app on your smartphone or visit Khalti.com/join
Enter your Name, mobile number, email address and a password on the sign up form at the top-right corner of the page
Click on ‘Join’
You will get a verification code on the mobile number you entered
Enter the verification code
Once you enter the verification code, click on ‘Verify’
Your account will be created successfully
Can people living outside Nepal signup to Khalti? How do outsiders signup to Khalti? And can they book tickets?
No, people residing outside Nepal cannot sign up to Khalti, as they will need to sign up using cell phone number registered in Nepal.
How to download Khalti app on your Smartphone?
Go to Google Play Store (Android users) or App Store (iOS users).
Type Khalti Digital Wallet in the search box. From the results you get, tap on Khalti Digital Wallet (Nepal) and tap on the Install button.
Khalti app will be installed instantly on your smartphone.
