Is online classes effective in Nepal?
The effectiveness of online classes depends upon numbers of factors. But, the pre-requisites for the classes will be electricity, internet and mobile phones. If these three things are made available to everyone, online classes will be effective in Nepal too. However, during the pandemic, online classes faced many backlashes solely because many students did not meet the minimum requirements for the class.
Is online learning better than classroom?
A recent study on classroom versus online learning showed that students in online learning performed a way better than those who attended the class. However, not every online learning is able to beat traditional classroom learning. The best online learning is the one that allows the students to go at their pace, and at their time to think deeply about the subject. But in case, if the classes are running at the pace of teachers without thinking about students then students will feel that classroom learning is better.
